Letters to the Future, from Sweet Honey

LIVE! JAZZ AT LINCOLN CENTER

We’re very excited that we were asked by News & Review Project in cooperation with the Association of Alternative Newsmedia and The Media Consortium to contribute to their LETTERS TO THE FUTURE, THE PARIS CLIMATE PROJECT international campaign. The campaign is designed to bring awareness and attention to many crucial world climate issues that will be discussed at The UN Climate Change Conference in Paris in December 2015.

The Paris Climate Project asked writers, scientists, artists and others to predict the outcome of the Paris talks (the success or failure and what came subsequently) as if writing to their children’s children, six generations hence. The letters tell future members of their own family or tribe, living at the turn of the century, what it was like to be alive during and after the historically crucial events of the upcoming U.N. climate talks.

Without hesitation, we contributed our interpretations (see below) to this project and encourage you to do the same.

We hope you are well and taking good care and staying vigilant. Stay on the battlefield of a loving positive life. It is a struggle to stay on that side but work hard. Go inside – meditate, pray, contemplate and always do the best you can every single day. It uplifts the energy of our planet. Our living breathing planet is trying hard to work in concert with us. We need to tune in.

Peace, love, life!

-Sweet Honey
